Soul power is a validation of the presence of light in your life.

Soul dignifies space as the illuminating power in and around the content, form and conditions that define life. Since you are conduit of this energy in your life you are accountable to radiating this out from you into everything and everyone. The sun radiates energy as a component of our universe and gives light.  In this way, you give that light which establishes this illuminating power into the world.

For example, I recall a time when I was sitting in a musical theatre class in Los Angeles with my coach David Craig. The actress, Nina Foch had just given a stunning performance of a song she was practicing for an upcoming audition in NYC.  When she finished,  the room stilled and a sense of awe come over the room. David then asked for a volunteer to perform next. No one moved, not one hand raised.  At that point, he bolted out of his chair and reprimanded us, “How dare you!,” he said. “You have just been handed gold as the space to perform in. Every hand should be raised,and all of you should be anxious to step into this privileged space.”  Later, I would realize that through her soul power, she demonstrated how soul dignifies space by giving us this amazing experience. It touched me deeply and has lingered throughout my life.

Each of you have this ability, to channel energy in ways that impact the space by all you think, say and do.  Walk with grace and with your head and heart held high so you shine your light into the world.  Be the illuminating power of light into the circumstances of your life.  Be positive, kind, compassionate and live in alignment with this energy flow.

We are experiencing the Age of Miracles, a time of unprecedented individual and global transformation. It is time to access higher power, whatever that happens to be for you and connect to that source directly through your heart. The sustaining power of light energy is what drives us to have ideals and thoughts beyond just being in body so that we are always open to love in ways that truly express our heart. New ideas that enter our minds channel from spirit guiding us in life; beyond the way we think, believe or perform actions and activities involving any belief system. This soulful connection to light energy is what is called the light of God or the divine energy in any avatar or Supreme Being and it is summoning a deep knowing within us. Your being in body is complex the way that a computer is designed to sustain and accomplish many functions simultaneously. It is complete in the same way by tabulating varied tasks from a variety of files programmed and stored in it. Transformation is the shift in that capacity to keep data and process it the same. This really gets confusing when you think of it but looking at it as computing, managing files, storing and deleting makes it easier to handle. Read the rest of this entry »

November 2009 – Foundation In Light (FIL) conducted an Appreciative Inquiry mini-Summit. Participants included Founder Bryan Christopher, Director Debra Reble and FIL supporters Marie Hersman, Lisa Hinton, Doug Reble and Maggie Ryan. The event was facilitated by Scott Hinton, Case Weatherhead School of Management, Masters in Positive Organizational Development (MPOD) 2011 candidate. Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is about the co-evolutionary search for the best in people, their organizations, and the relevant world around them. In its broadest focus, it involves systematic discovery of what gives “life” to a living system when it is most alive, most effective, and most constructively capable in economic, ecological, and human terms.

Scott led the group through the discover, dream and design phases of Appreciative Inquiry. FIL plans to conduct a larger AI the first half of 2011.
